Welcome to the Sheridan-Townsend Block Club!
Our block club was organized in 2022 to lead a Motor City Makeover cleanup in the alley between Sheridan, Townsend, Vernor, and Charlevoix. The alley was cleared out through the City of Detroit’s Alley Clean Up program in 2021, so neighbors thought it was important to keep up the energy and organize.
We have continued to grow and expand from Kercheval to Mack, organizing more cleanups and advocating for city infrastructure repairs. Check out the gallery for some photos of our work.
